Green Energy Ohio is proud to partner with Zane State College, OGW Energy Resources, EnerWorks, and Wat-Kem to offer our Residential Solar Thermal Training!!
The focus of the training is on residential domestic solar hot water systems, including an overview of solar resources and fundamentals, common types of systems and components, site selection and installation considerations, incentives and payback. All students will experience hands-on learning with Zane State's top of the line solar thermal training equipment.

The two day training will be limited to industry professionals, and OCILB licensed tradesmen who are working in the plumbing, heating and cooling, hydronics, and construction industry.
The training will culminate in a hands-on installation of an EnerWorks OG-300 residential solar hot water unit at Zane State College. This training is capped at 30 registrants.

LET THERE BE LIGHT
What about lighting? Have you replaced older, far less efficient lighting with fixtures and bulbs that are far more efficient and less costly? Do you know how much coal it takes to keep a 100-Watt bulb lit for one year? More than seven hundred pounds, that's how much. How many light bulbs are constantly burning in your facility / home? OGW Spring Energy Seminar

This is a free event that will review Solar Racking and Grounding Friday April 1, from 9 to 2:30pm at the Upper Valley JVS in Piqua, OH.
The guest speakers will all be from the solar field of Renewable Energy.

The agenda: 9:00 AM OGW Energy Resources Introduction and Presentation
9:20 AM DPW Solar - DPW will cover an intensive presentation on Top-of-Pole mounts, Power Rail family, Power-FAB CRS, Multi-Pole mounts, Power Peak...as well as, Ballasted Roof Mounts, Standard Ground mounts, Power Grid, Side-of-Pole mounts and enclusures. Most importantly, the training is focused on selecting the proper rack mounting solution and components for the application.
Working Lunch-Box Lunches will be provided.
1:30 Wiley Electronics-Wiley Electronics will review the importance, selection and marriage of grounding to racking in general and how it integrates with DPW's products.
